Down on the Farm Lesson

$12.00

Dear Parents and Guardians,

This lesson is designed to be a hands-on learning experience to support our science, language arts, and social development goals through real-life interaction with animals, plants, and farm environments.

This lesson directly supports the Sunshine State Standards for science and language arts by allowing students to:

  • Identify and compare characteristics of animals and plants

  • Understand life cycles and ecosystems

  • Use observation and vocabulary to describe their surroundings

  • Write and share reflections about their experience

Why This Matters:

This lesson was adapted from a trip to the Little Farm with Field Trip Club. The Little Farm provides a safe and enriching environment for children to connect with God’s creation through observation, interaction, and curiosity.

We believe that whether you travel with us to the farm, on your own, or virtually, this experience will spark meaningful questions and provide a deeper appreciation for the natural world and how we care for it.

If you have any questions, please reach out to us at graceacademycurriculum@gmail.com.

Thank you for your continued support in your child’s learning journey!

Warmly,

Crystal Vazquez
